Introducing CoolSculpt – Sculpt your shape.
CoolSculpting is a leading, non-invasive fat reduction procedure and at Illuminate we are proud to offer it to our clients. The revolutionary body shaping procedure can help you reduce excess fat by up to 25%* and lose centimetres from your body whilst achieving a refined sculpted look.
What is CoolSculpting?
Cool Sculpting is based on science developed at Harvard University. The CoolSculpting procedure eliminates stubborn fat safely and effectively, without surgery or downtime. This fat reduction treatment is the only FDA-cleared procedure to use controlled cooling to safely target and eliminate diet- and exercise-resistant fat. CoolSculpting results are proven, noticeable, and lasting, so you’ll look and feel great from every angle.
Contrary to the title, CoolSculpting doesn’t actually freeze the fat as fat cells freeze at higher temperatures than surrounding tissues. CoolSculpting technology safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin. The treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), and then die. Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells, leaving a more sculpted you*
What does procedure involve?
Firstly the ideal candidate for this procedure is anyone who has an area of fat on their body they can grab. If you have an area like this, CoolSculpting could be the treatment you need to rid yourself of stubborn fat.
The CoolSculpting fat freezing procedure is completely non-surgical, so you can typically return to work and normal activities immediately.
The procedure works by pulling your fat bulge between two cooling plates by a strong vacuum and the fat cells are frozen inside this for about 30 minutes. It only targets fat cells killing about 25%* of them without damaging the skin or surrounding tissues. At the end of your treatment we will massage the area to increase the breakdown and death of the fat cells.
And we’re confident you will like what you see. In the weeks and months following your procedure, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells.
One treatment in the selected area gives noticeable improvements, while two or three produce significant results*.
